Improved Community PMTCT Services (ICOPS) Project

With aid from Positive Action for Children’s Fund (PACF) supports community systems in linkage and to ensure that sustainable measures are put in place that supports continuity of PMTCT service provision among beneficiaries including women, children and their spouses in Iganga district. The aim of the project is to contribute to elimination of Mother to child transmission of HIV in Uganda. UDHA embraces a community approach for integration through the four tent model using HCT as an entry point. UDHA fights to address to address loss to follow, prevent unintended pregnancies and keeping HIV negative women, negative, with interventions in seven parishes in Five Sub Counties of Bulamagi, Iganga Northern Division, Iganga Central Division, Nakalama and Buyanga in Iganga district.
